Traffic and Parking Plan

In anticipation of a large crowd at the Summer Nights Light Event at the Danvers High School on Sunday, August 11th, the Danvers Police Department has created a traffic plan to maintain adequate traffic flow throughout the event.

  • Handicap parking will be available along the front of the Danvers High School in marked spaces facing the building.
  • Public parking will be available in the large lot to the left of the school.
  • Parking will be allowed on the right-hand side as you travel away from the Danvers High School on Cabot (to Colgate), Sherwood Ave, Massachusetts Ave, and Exter Street (the lefthand side will be posted with no parking).
  • Parking will be allowed on the right-hand side of Burley Street as you travel towards the Danvers High School from Conant Street (parking on the opposite side will be prohibited).
  • The red line on the map below indicates no parking areas.
