• Logistics Ideas 

• • Eliminate selfie walls, add more activites that sponsors/businesses can run (less setup work) 

• • Try to entice the businesses on the street to get more involved 

• • • Maybe a store front decorating contest?  Winner gets a Friend sponsorship at SNL? 

• • Change back to 1 DFF Booth instead of 2, double size 

• Passing out flyers to downtown businesses 

• • Nancy volunteered to hand them out

Other event ideas 

• Halloween themed brewfest in the fall 

• • A lot of folks like this idea 

• • The Library is one of the only locations that we could do this due to bylaws 

• • We have been working on this idea for a couple years now 

• Thorpe may be having a turkey trot 

• We think we can only handle adding 1 more new event this year 

 

Open Floor 

• Some folks asked how the Pancake Breakfast went (they weren’t at the last open meeting in March) 

• • About 450 attendees 

• • Raised $3300, and we had $1100 in one-time expenses, next year we should have better margins 

• • No long lines, flowed very smoothly 

• • Activities kept everyone occupied and happy
